Neonatal Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Our physiotherapist provide assessment, education and treatment of musculoskeletal issues such as:

• Wry neck (torticollis)
  
• Flat head Syndrome (Plagiocephaly)
  
• Shoulder injuries
  
• Hip injuries
  
• Postural club feet
  

• Gait abnormalities e.g. tip-toe walking
  

Neonatal Neuro-Developmental Clinic (NNDC)

Our physiotherapist are involved in the multidisciplinary NNDC for high risk and extremely preterm babies upon discharge from hospital.  Management include coordinated multi-disciplinary screening of development and behavior so that deviations from the norm can be promptly detected for early intervention and improved outcomes.

Baby Massage Class

Baby massage can improve circulatory, respiratory and neurological system as well as allow parents/caregivers to bond with babies through touch.  Two interactive sessions are conducted on types of soothing techniques with practical sessions to improve parents'/ caregivers' confidence in the various massage strokes.
