Regorafenib is a targeted medication used to treat certain advanced cancers e.g. colorectal, liver and gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST).

What side effects can

- Palms of the hands or soles of the feet become numb, sore, red or dry

- Nausea, decreased appetite
- Mouth sores or ulcers

- Tiredness or lack of energy
- Increased risk of infection
Maintain hygiene, avoid crowds and people with infection. - Voice change or hoarseness
Inform your doctor if any of the following occurs:
- Painful blistering or swelling of hands or feet
- Signs of unusual bleeding e.g. unexplained bruises or black, sticky stools
- Chest pain or tightness, shortness of breath
- Yellowing of the skin or eye, or dark tea-coloured urine
- Severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting
- Fever of 38 ˚C or higher
- Severe headache, giddiness, confusion or change in vision

- Use effective birth control during treatment and for at least 2 months after stopping Regorafenib. Inform your doctor if you or your partner plan for or suspect pregnancy.
- Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you:
- Have any surgery planned.
- Have any other medical conditions e.g. high blood pressure, heart problems.
- Are taking any other medication or supplements.

How should
Regorafenib
be used?
It is a tablet, taken by mouth and swallowed whole with water after a light (low-fat) meal. Take once daily at around the same time each day for 3 weeks out of a 4-week cycle.
Take the exact number of tablets instructed by your doctor.
What should I do if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can on the same day and then go back to your usual dosing time the next day. Do not double dose.
What should I do if I overdose?
If you overdose on this medication, inform your doctor immediately.
