The
Clinical Trials and Research Centre (CTRC) was set up in May 1999 as a one-stop resource centre to promote and co-ordinate high quality clinical trials in Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
CTRC provides advice to Principal Investigators (PIs) and their Sponsors on the policies and guidelines for conducting clinical trials (both academic or sponsored). The Centre also plays the important role of training the PIs and study coordinators.
Set within an academic centre, CTRC’s strategic location within SGH and between multiple National
Specialist Centres enables multiple collaboration opportunities between
institutions. These well-established connections allow CTRC access to multiple
researchers and facilities to satisfy different study requirements. We are the point of contact for industry and academic collaborations for SGH.
