Training Objectives/Goals

To be competent in the clinical care of patients with complex inflammatory bowel disease.
Diagnose and treat patients with Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis.
Diagnose and manage extra-intestinal manifestations of IBD (such as hepatobiliary, cutaneous, joint and ophthalmologic manifestations).
Diagnose and manage disease and treatment related adverse effects in IBD patients.
Comprehensive understanding of treatment regimens for patients with IBD, including anti-inflammatory agents, immunomodulators and biological agents.
Proper use of endoscopic and radiologic procedures to assess and monitor IBD patients.
Competence in endoscopy for the IBD patient including dysplasia screening, balloon dilation and chromoendoscopy. Treatment of the post-operative IBD patient

Possess valid practicing license with the Singapore Medical Council
Registered under the Register of Specialists with Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
