The Department of Haematology, Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre Singapore was established in 1985 and is the leading centre for blood disorders in Singapore. Our complement of services covers the entire patient journey from diagnosis and treatment to supportive care of benign and malignant(cancerous) haematological conditions. We currently have over 30 passionate haematologists in more than 10 subspecialties, providing advanced clinical and laboratory services across the entire spectrum of blood disorders. Supporting us is a comprehensive network of allied health services provided by specialty nurses, pharmacists, transplant coordinators, social workers and laboratory scientists and technicians. Each individual in our organization is well-trained and equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deal with the varying complexities of haematological conditions. We strive to provide our patients with compassionate, holistic, and cutting-edge clinical care. To this end, we constantly push ourselves to be at the forefront of clinical practice and research to provide the best strategies for diagnosis and treatment of our patients with blood conditions. We are also a centre for clinical trials and host local and international trials covering a wide range of blood disorders and blood cancers. As the only Haematology entity in SingHealth, we provide haematological services to affiliated institutions including Changi General Hospital, KK Women's and Children's Hospital and the National Cancer Centre.
