Swab from genital ulcers, bubo aspirates and cervical swabs must be inoculated directly onto culture plates in the form of a “Z” at the bedside. Culture plates can be obtained from Client Services (Tel : 6321 4950/4952/4904) on request.
The plates must be despatched to the laboratory as soon as possible.
