What side effects can

Common side effects include:
- Diarrhoea
- If you develop diarrhoea while taking this medication, temporarily stop taking the medication and consult your healthcare professional. It should go away one to two days after stopping this medication.
- Other side effects include bloating, stomach pain and nausea and vomiting.
Rare but serious side effects include:
- Stomach pain or cramps that does not go away, inability to pass gas or stool, fever or vomiting during the treatment.
The symptoms of a drug allergy include one or more of the following:
- Swollen face/eyes/lips/tongue
- Difficulty in breathing
- Itchy skin rashes over your whole body
If you experience any of these symptoms, you should stop your medication and see your healthcare professional immediately.

- You are allergic to this medication or any of the other ingredients of this medication
- You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
- You are taking any other medications, including supplements, traditional medications and herbal remedies

- You have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease)
- You have fructose intolerance as this medication contains sorbitol.

- Dissolve each sachet in a full glass of water before you drink.
