What side effects can

cause?
Common side effects include:
- Nausea
- Take this medication with food.
- Dizziness, fainting or a drop in blood pressure
- The risk may be increased if you develop diarrhoea or vomiting during treatment. Generally, these side effects go away after some time.
- Shortness of breath
- It may occur especially within an hour of the first dose but generally goes away within three hours. It may happen again with repeated doses.
- Other side effects include stomach discomfort, headaches, sweating and palpitations.
Rare but serious side effects include:
- Stomach pain or cramps that does not go away, inability to pass gas or stool, fever, vomiting or diarrhea during the treatment.
The symptoms of a drug allergy include one or more of the following:
- Swollen face/eyes/lips/tongue
- Difficulty in breathing
- Itchy skin rashes over your whole body
If you experience any of these symptoms, you should stop your medication and see your healthcare professional immediately.
