Haematuria (Blood in the urine)

You may or may not have any other symptoms associated with haematuria. These symptoms include lower abdominal or back pain, urinary frequency and urgency, burning pain when passing urine, and fever. There are often no other associated symptoms.
Possible causes of haematuria include:
- Urinary tract infections
- Urinary tract stones
- Kidney diseases
- Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
- Cancers of the Kidneys, Bladder and Prostate
- Previous radiation treatment to the pelvis
