Supporting our patients during COVID-19

[With Ref Code]SGH Solidarity Poster_A.PNG

A group of residents have set up the SGH Solidarity Pledge (SSP) to help our patients who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges for our community. As healthcare workers, we have been blessed with overwhelming public donations of food and letters of appreciation. We are also financially secure, but this is not the case for many in the community. We have witnessed how COVID-19 has affected Singaporeans and migrant workers due to the illness or unemployment.

Many of us have received the $600 Solidarity Payment from the Government. You can donate your Solidarity payment or any amount you wish. As a Singapore tax resident, your donation will be eligible for a 250% tax deduction so please provide your details.

50% of the proceeds will be allocated to the SGH Needy Patients Fund, a fund that supports SGH needy patients in areas like dialysis, equipment and transplant services, used after exhausting all other possible public assistance schemes. The other 50% will be allocated to the Healthy Communities Fund, for the elderly and disenfranchised members of the community.

Your donation will go a long way in improving the lives’ of the less privileged! All eligible donations will also enjoy a 250% tax deduction till 31 December 2020.
