Mid-term: Educational Sponsorship after start of programme, i.e. not the entire programme

A: Sponsorship is open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Go to the
SGH career portal, complete the online form, and send in the necessary documents as stated in the recruitment advertisement.
Q: How do I apply for a full-time scholarship?
Q: Is there a minimum or maximum age that is eligible to apply?
A: No, you are welcome to apply in the event that you have gained admission.
Q: I have just completed my ‘N’ / ‘O’/'A' level examinations, can I submit my application?
A: Yes, you may submit your application but your sponsorship offer will be conditional to you being accepted into the programme.
Q: Will SGH apply on my behalf to the various educational institutions for course admission?
A: No, you would have to apply for direct admission into the course and be successfully enrolled in the course before your sponsorship application will be considered.
Q: Does the successful application of sponsorship mean direct entry into the course offered by the various educational institutions?
A: No, you would have to apply for direct entry into the course by the various educational institutions based on their requirements and your own merit.
Q: I am currently in the midst of my studies, can I still apply?
A: Yes, mid-term educational sponsorships are available.
Q: How will I know if my application has been successful?
A: You will receive a call from us if you had been successful in the interview and you will also receive a Letter of Offer specifying the terms of the award.
Q: Can my sureties be my family members, i.e. parents or cousins?
A: Yes, as long as they fulfil the criteria of sureties stated on the surety declaration form.
Q: Can I work during the holidays if I am sponsored?
A: Sponsored students will have to write in officially (
sponsorship@sgh.com.sg) on their request to work part-time. All requests will be subject to approval.
