Profile

Dr Alexander Tan is an Interventional Radiologist with the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Singapore General Hospital, Singapore's largest and only IASIOS accredited IR centre.

He is a graduate of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS and SingHealth Diagnostic Radiology Residency Programme.

Dr Tan completed his IR training with the European Board of Interventional Radiology in 2022 and went on to obtain the European Certification for Endovascular Specialists in 2024.

He received the Health Manpower Development Plan award in FY 2023 and trained in interventional MRI at the Nouvel Hôpital Civil, Hôpitaux Universitaires De Strasbourg, France and Klinik und Poliklinik für Radiologie, Klinikum der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat München, Germany.
