Profile

Dr Ngiam is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Child Development, KKH. She completed her advanced specialist training at NUH, during which she worked with the NUH Child Development Unit (CDU). She spent a month at Stanford University School of Medicine as a visiting instructor to gain further exposure in developmental-behavioural paediatrics. Subsequently, she went into private practice for several years before joining KKH DCD to pursue her passion for helping children with developmental concerns. 

She taught undergraduate medical students during her specialist training. She also coordinated and taught the paediatric medicine curriculum for NUS dental students and was an invigilator for the dentistry written examinations.

She is an active volunteer with CaringSG and Tzu Chi Singapore. She is also a keen artist who illustrated the cover of NUH’s Paediatrics On-The-Go handbook.
