Profile

Dr Maria Noviani is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She obtained her BSc (1st Class Hons) in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) in 2010, MD degree from Duke-National University of Singapore Medical School (Singapore) in 2016. Following, she joined Membership of Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2018 and was conferred MMed (Internal Medicine) in 2019. She completed her senior residency training in Rheumatology and Immunology (clinician-scientist track) at SingHealth in 2024 and was conferred Fellow of Academy Medicine of Singapore (Rheumatology) in 2024. She has recently embarked on PhD (Clinical and Translational Sciences) at Duke-National University of Singapore Medical School since 2023.

Dr Noviani has participated in scholarly activities since her undergraduate years. Her works have been recognised with various research awards, published in peer-reviewed research articles and presented at international conferences. More recently, Dr Noviani was awarded the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Research Training Fellowship in 2023 to pursue translational research studies to investigate the peripheral immune landscape of systemic sclerosis.
