A/Prof Limin Wijaya obtained her MBBS from The University of Melbourne, Australia in 2000 and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 2004. She was awarded a Fellowship in Tropical and Travel Medicine at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, University of Liverpool, UK in 2009. She subsequently set up the Travel Clinic in SGH.
A/Prof Limin contributed significantly to the efforts in rolling out vaccination programmes for the Hospital, including the MMR/VZV catch-up vaccination exercise in 2017. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a pivotal role in assisting the Co-Chairs of the SGH team at the Command Centre. As a passionate academician, Limin is actively involved in research and education activities. She served as Programme Director of the SingHealth Infectious Diseases Residency Programme from 2014 to 2017. She currently holds appointment as Assistant Dean of Learning with Duke-NUS Medical School.
