Profile
Dr Jane Lim obtained her Medical Degree from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). In medical school, she was elected and served as an executive committee member of the National University of Singapore Medical Society. She was awarded the MOH training award to pursue Ophthalmology residency training in Singapore and successfully completed it with the Singapore National Eye Centre. She subsequently obtained her Masters in Medicine (Ophthalmology), and attained fellowships with The Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
Dr Lim is also active in undergraduate medical education and training, and was awarded the Associate in Education by the College of Clinical Medicine in recognition of stellar education contribution in 2020.
Her research interests lies in cataract surgery, biometry and accurate intraocular lens implant calculations, and artificial intelligence in healthcare. She has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals.
