Dr Chan is currently the director of the Tinnitus clinic service in the Department of Otolaryngology. He is also a member of the Chapter of Otolaryngology, Academy of Medicine.
Dr Chan graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his specialty training in Otolaryngology in Singapore. Having been awarded the HMDP scholarship, he pursued further advanced sub-specialty training in Otology/ Neuro-Otology in the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Dr Chan is regarded widely for his work in Tinnitus. He has been an invited guest speaker in Asia-Pacific and International conferences and meetings. He has also been very active in the realm of research, having been awarded research grant by the Health Innovation Fund. Dr Chan has also published scientific papers in notable peer reviewed journals and is himself a guest reviewer for local and scientific journals. He has also authored book chapter in Otolaryngology.
