Profile

Dr Au Yong is a consultant anaesthesiologist specializing in perioperative medicine, regional anaesthesia and high-risk obstetrics. She has completed her fellowship in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in Anaesthesia for Advanced Gastrointestinal Malignancies including pelvic exenteration and peritonectomies. She has contributed to Enhanced Recovery after Surgery protocols and leads PREPARE, SGH's prehabilitation programme for surgical patients. Her avid interests of research include frailty, anaemia and regional anaesthesia.
