For identification of the HLA-B27 allele which is associated with ankylosing spondylosis, Reiter's syndrome, acute anterior uveitis, iritis, Behçet's Disease, psoriatic arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
5 ml of whole blood in EDTA
Refrigerate sample until transfer to laboratory. Do not freeze. Sample should reach the laboratory as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours after collection.
