Gum disease may be a sign of diabetes

​Patients with severe gum disease may already be suffering from undiagnosed diabetes. In view of World Oral Health Day on 20 March, Dr Chee Hoe Kit from NDCS explained the link between gum disease and diabetes. He also described the warning signs of gum disease and ways to prevent it from developing.
