This programme is designed to provide companionship, support and assistance to geriatric patients admitted to the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). The programme aims to enhance the well-being of the patients through engaging cognitive, physical, and social activities.
By participating in these meaningful activities, patients receive personalised attention, which could contribute to their overall happiness and emotional well-being. The programme not only benefits patients, but it also offers fulfilling experience for the volunteers. Volunteers stand a chance to learn useful tips when communicating and handling geriatric patients.
This programme aims to make both a positive impact to the patients and the volunteers.
Be the reason for patients to be meaningfully engaged during their stay at the SGH. You can make a significant impact on these patients’ care by volunteering with us!
