Diabetic foot infection is a serious sequelae of poorly controlled diabetes leading to major amputation and debilitation. Management mainly revolves around early detection and risk factor control. Timely and appropriate management is also required to avoid morbidity and mortality.
This course will discuss pharmacological management of diabetes and associated foot infections. It also focusses on the multidisciplinary approach which is essential for optimal outcomes of the diabetic foot patients.
