Objective

To introduce Auditory-Verbal Therapy to relevant professionals who are interested to work with children with hearing loss.

Outline

  • Learn the principles of Auditory-Verbal Therapy.
  • Learn the importance of the acoustic environment for the patient’s learning.
  • Learn what kind of hearing devices are used in different hearing diagnoses.
  • Learn how a session is planned and conducted.
  • Learn some of the strategies used for listening and spoken language development.

Attachment Fees

1. Training Fee (5-day work week) depending on the nature of attachment

  • At least SGD $654.00* per applicant per week

2. Administrative Fee Upon Acceptance (non-refundable)

  • Singaporeans: SGD $163.50*
  • Non-Singaporeans & Overseas Applicants: SGD $261.60*

3. Miscellaneous Fees for Overseas Applicants (Non-Singaporeans) [non-refundable]

a. Training Employment Pass (TEP)

  • One time application fee: SGD $105
  • Issuance Fee: SGD $225

b. Multiple Journey visa (if applicable): SGD $30

*Inclusive of 9% GST
