"I once had a patient who initially came into my clinic post-discharge with a toe amputation. She was very worried about the condition of her foot and I remember vividly her anxious look and how she kept asking me if she would need any further amputations. I allayed her worries by explaining her wound condition and assured her that we would do our best for her. Eventually the wound healed up and she was able to resume her activities as per normal."
